I am Lana Okubo [大久保らな], a Program-Specific Researcher (JSPS) in the Department of Informatics at Kyoto University. I received a PhD in Psychology from the University of Tokyo in 2024.

I am interested in the question of how humans perceive the world from noisy sensory input in the peripheral visual field. My work uses Experimental Psychology and Psychophysics, with an emphasis on the visual domain. Recent interest is in the combination of behavorial experiments and image analysis.
